Our Vaccination Clinics are first-come, first-served. No appointments are ever necessary. Kittens and puppies must be vaccinated to protect them from illness and viruses for which they are at risk. Adult cats and dogs should be vaccinated annually to maintain that protection. Additionally, all dogs and cats must have a current rabies vaccine, according to Indiana state law.
If your dog or cat receives his or her rabies booster within 12 months of his or her previous vaccine, he/she will be given a 3-year rabies vaccine. The 3-year rabies vaccine provides you with a cost savings and is in accordance with Indiana law.
Permanent identification of dogs and cats 3 months of age or older is required in Indianapolis. This identification is in addition to a rabies tag. Lack of permanent identification will put you at risk of fines from the city. FACE offers microchipping for $20, which includes the registration. We will process the registration for you so that you and your dog or cat will be in compliance with this Indianapolis Animal Control ordinance.
We have team members who are available for client education and support should you have questions about what vaccinations your cat or dog may need. Our veterinarians can advise you on good care for your cat or dog, and will recommend a time to schedule your spay/neuter surgery. The FACE team will schedule your appointment, when appropriate, during Wellness Clinic.
