The FACE wellness clinics offer low-cost vaccinations in an effort to encourage all dog and cat guardians to vaccinate their pets. The wellness clinics provide FACE veterinarians an opportunity to provide education about proper animal care to thousands of clients annually and to dispel old wives tales and myths about animal care and behavior. In the process FACE not only encourages better care of dogs and cats but helps increase the bond between guardian and pet.
Our vaccinations clinics provide an excellent forum by which to encourage guardians to spay or neuter their dogs or cats; we often make surgery appointments for clients attending our vaccine clinic who prior to that were not actively considering having their pet spayed or neutered. It is not unusual for new clients to come to FACE for rabies vaccinations after being cited by Animal Care and Control Officers for violation of the city ordinance requiring it. Intially attempting just to avoid court costs, many obtain not only rabies vaccines for their companion animals but additional vaccinations, flea and worming medication and appointments for spay or neuters.
Our wellness clinics are all first-come, first-served. Clients check-in for vaccinations and complete a questionnaire about their needs at that visit. We have team members available for client education and support. We do require that all cats visiting our clinic remain in secure carriers and dogs must be on a leash; we also limit the number of animals per client to three.
After visiting with our veterinarians and receiving vaccinations, clients are checked out by FACE team members, pay for services and receive the documentation for their vaccinations including the rabies certificate and tag.
FACE is a not-for-profit organization committed to ending pet overpopulation in the Indianapolis area. The FACE wellness clinics provide much needed revenue which allows us to keeps surgery costs low and encourage more guardians to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Wellness Clinic Schedule:
Monday through Thursdays: 4:15pm to 5:15pm. Check-in begins at 3:45pm.
Saturdays: 10:00am to 2:00pm. Check-in begins at 9:30am.
Sundays: 11:00am to 3:00pm. Check-in begins at 10:30am.
